Hammer candle stick is another price pattern, indicating the bullish trend to start. Hammer candle is much similar to the Dragon fly Doji candle. Hammer candle occurs in the bottom where bearish trend completes with almost same or little difference in Opening and Closing of the candle. Whereas, in hammer-shaped candle stick the lower shadow of the stick is at least twice the size of the the real body. The body of the candle stick shows the difference between opening and close prices. The shadow shows the High and Low prices for the period.
