MOVING AVERAGE

Moving Average (MA) is a technical analysis tool/indicator that is used in trading to calculate and analyse the series of average data fluctuating over a specified period of time. However, the average is taken over a specified period of time like; an hour, a week, or a month or any time period that a trader chooses. Moving Average is also called a moving mean or rolling mean and is a type of finite impulse response filter. While the variations of Moving Average include the Simple and Cumulative or Weighted form.

200 Day Moving Average is widely used in Forex trading because it is considered as a best indicator of a long term trend in a Forex Market. To use this indicator is simple to understand it's functioning. If it moves consistently above 200 Day Moving Average, it can be vied as upward trending market. Whereas, the downward market trend id vise versa to the upward trend.
